Troubleshooting

Functions not working:

  • Ensure you're signed in (check the taskpane)
  • Verify your network connection
  • Check the diagnostics panel in the taskpane for error details

Add-in not loading:

  • Verify the manifest file is valid
  • Check that you've trusted the publisher
  • Ensure the add-in source URL is accessible

Copy Diagnostics

To help diagnose issues, you can copy diagnostic information from the taskpane:

  1. Open the OptLab taskpane in Excel
  2. Scroll to the "Support" section at the bottom
  3. Click "Copy support info"
  4. Share the copied information when reporting issues

Diagnostic information includes version details, environment settings, and recent operation history (redacted for security).
