Sideload Installation

Install OptLab for local testing and development.

Windows

1. Open Excel

2. Go to Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in

3. Select the manifest file (manifest.local.xml or manifest.dev.xml)

4. Trust the publisher when prompted

5. The add-in will appear in the task pane

Mac

1. Open Excel

2. Go to Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in

3. Select the manifest file (manifest.local.xml or manifest.dev.xml)

4. Trust the publisher when prompted

5. The add-in will appear in the task pane

Note: Use the provided manifest file and ensure you trust the publisher when prompted. The manifest specifies the add-in's capabilities and source location.
